This is a favorite foyer shot from the files. The hall really doesn’t go much of anywhere but was needed to accommodate the stacks of windows for the front of the church. The sanctuary is positioned at a 45 degree angle, so the entry foyer is actually at a port entrance halfway down the side of the building. The parking lot is off the opposite side of this footprint. Access to the sanctuary is provided by wrap around hallways. These grand front doors are more emergency exits than anything else. It’s window dressing taken to a grand scale, but gives this church the curb appeal it needs at night on a busy neighborhood street.
