Historic renovation in Illinois
Some scanned photos from the album of my ancestral farmstead in Illinois. My father and I worked to restore the front of the home to match the oldest extant photo from c.1895. We found the original working shutters stored in the attic. I wrote a successful nomination to get the property listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
