Another effort at re-creating an advertising panel from an old magazine ad. Again, the metal panel has bends and blemishes for character. My father owned this early 50s vintage ancestor of the SUVs. My mother called it the “box.” The Willys was Jeep’s effort to produce a line of passenger cars in those years. Before trading for this unit, my father had a Willys Aero Ace, which looked much like all the other cars of the early to mid fifties before styling got out of control with overdoses of fins and chrome. This panel also had computer cut graphics applied after the painting was done.
